No hotkey hint Bug? F10 doesn't open in current dir Bug?

Post by jsanta »

Hi. I just noticed a pair of bugs (I suppose):

- In the Spanish translation I don't see the command shortcuts in the upper menus. That means for example F6 for moving, F5 for copying, and else.

- Pressing the F10 key opens a command line window, but it opens it in  C:\Program Files\zabkat\xplorer2_lite\snap ignoring any other folder I choose. I know it's easy to cut & paste the folder address, but it didn't happen on previous versions I've tried.

Referring to the first supposed  bug, I think it would be a good idea too include a language setting option in the Options command.

That's it. Keep the good work :)

check that you are not using an old translation .dll
(The latest spanish translation is available with x2 update download version 1.2.0.1)
Beyond that suggestion I can offer no help as I do not see the problem and limited to English :(
PS - nikos is away until next week, although he may check in intermittantly and offer other suggestions.

I've tried erasing the translation dll with no positive results.

as far as the F10 question goes ... the latest version of x2 has an option that influences that behaviour: see this thread.

That option solves the F10.

Menus & hotkeys:
 my fault :(
I just checked the configuration and showing the just plain menus doesn't show the hotkeys...

Thanks a lot for your patience.

i'm not sure if there's a problem with the spanish translation or not?
did you have to delete the translation dll to get the program working properly?

I deleted the file, but I guess there's no problem with the translation. It was my fault missusing the configuration.

Thanks.

that's good to know

i am a bit wary about all these translations since i can't really tell if there are any problems -- i don't speak these languages. I rely on user feedback to correct any translation related bugs!
