
I missed the <Alt>-<Tab> thread. It is just like the MDI behaviour of many multi-windowed apps today. Just a few examples follow.
In M$ Word, one can Ctrl-F6 to cycle thru opened documents. And open documents are listed in <Window> menu.
In Mozilla 1.4, open browser windows are listed in <Window> menu.
In OpenOffice.org, open documents are also listed in <Window> menu.
I think we users are trained to expect such list of open windows as typical feature when a <Window> menu is offered
If x2 introduces such feature, it can also serve to list all windows with folder names in a uncluttred manner. Guess there is no other easy way to do that from a cluttered Windows Task Bar.
What I think is that such feature is a small effort but a leap in usability for user like me
