Re: Window Focus
as more and more people report similar problems, I am amazed to realize (googling) that people were having focus issues on windows 11 for years (at least 3), without xplorer2 being involved. What the fek?

Re: Window Focus
Having now begun using Win11, it is a worse user experience in so many ways, large and small.

Re: Window Focus
one of the people that reported this problem said that for xplorer2 at least, the problem goes away if one turns ON delete confirmations from recycle bin properties, is that correct?

Re: Window Focus
It's really weird. Sometimes applications that you call up on the spot open and immediately minimize to the taskbar, and other times they are simply hidden behind other windows that area already there.nikos wrote: 2025 Apr 25, 06:17 as more and more people report similar problems, I am amazed to realize (googling) that people were having focus issues on windows 11 for years (at least 3), without xplorer2 being involved. It's been happening for a long time (as you noted over 3 years now, I distinctly remember it starting in late 2022) that I've gotten used to it.
But there are a lot of good things to 11 over 10, and I was an early adopter, anyway, so I've stuck with it.

Re: Window Focus
That makes sense that it does, as it shows a second dialog tied to the 'missing' dialog lol. For some reason, windows that open are subject to this idiosyncrasy, but dialog boxes haven't been affected (or if they have, I've not noticed).nikos wrote: 2025 Apr 26, 06:46 one of the people that reported this problem said that for xplorer2 at least, the problem goes away if one turns ON delete confirmations from recycle bin properties, is that correct?
