since I installed the last version the scrap windows in one of my layouts start out as dual panes... I prefer just a single pane for scraps but neither save settings now nor save settings on exit is saving the scrap layout as single pane...
this is with 3.5.0.1 ultimate
how to save scrap pane layout or what up with these dual panes?

Re: how to save scrap pane layout
the secret with scraps is to have them filled with items and then settings will stick when you close them

Re: how to save scrap pane layout
does not make a difference if I have 1 item in a scrap or many... it just continues to start as dual pane...
is there a setting I can manually adjust in the ini file to disable dual pane in scraps?
[xplorer2_UC.working\ScrapFrame Settings]
@=
binDockStyle=0
binDockSite=2244608
binDualPaneFlags=0
is this the setting for dual pane in a scrap?
BTW, it is saving the state of tile horizontally but no matter what I have tried dual pane always starts checked.
I think I see what the deal is... I usually start this layout like this...
C:\tools\xplorer2_ultimate\xplorer2_64.exe /S:working "$L" "$R"
C:\tools\xplorer2_ultimate\xplorer2_64.exe /S:working foldergroup1 foldergroup2
so I guess sending folder info for both main panes forces the scraps to start dual pane
if I only send one folder or group or do not send any folders the scraps start with a single pane
This is relatively new behavior because I have been starting this layout as mentioned above for years and have not been getting dual pane scraps.

Re: how to save scrap pane layout
right this is an unintended consequence of a change I did for the main window, I'll fix it

Re: how to save scrap pane layout
in the meantime you can maximize one of the 2 scrap panes with ctrl+E or just with the splitter so it doesn't get in the way too much

Re: how to save scrap pane layout
This "unintended consequence" also seems to affect launching layouts.
I have a layout called columns that usually only has one pane but if I launch it from a window started as mentioned above (passing folder info for both panes) the columns window will be dual panes.
What I am doing for now is using unchecking tile horizontally so I get the full width of the pane. Thanks for the reminder of Ctrl+E.
